UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES

The Undergraduate Studies level (NQF 6 or Bac+4) is built on the basis of semester modules. Students are required to take an educational enrolment in compulsory, optional and optional modules whose courses they wish to take during each semester. To prepare for the examinations, one or two books (manuals or other) are distributed free of charge per module, with or without handout(s).

Our Department offers courses in the wide area of French Studies, French language and literature, history, culture, translation, theoretical and applied linguistics. Students also take option courses offered by other Departments of the School of Philosophy (Greek Studies, History and Archaeology, Philosophy, Education and Psychology).

In order to graduate with a “Ptychion” (Bachelors Degree equivalent) from the Faculty of French Language and Literature of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), each student must accumulate a total of 240 European Credits (ECTS), after successfully completing all the required courses.
